What is a Doula?
I’m a doula in Copperas Cove, TX and I am a Christian doula.
Here's what I do:
- inform families about their options surrounding birth
- help them to determine their 'why' for said choices
- guide them in writing their birth plan
- help them to be in alignment with their birth preferences through the choices they make throughout pregnancy
- I use scripture and faith to encourage women to include God in the creation process
- I answer questions as they come up
- I look at pictures of discharge and reply "yes, that's your mucus plug!"
- I provide in-person labor support, offering suggestions for rest, labor progression, dilation, nourishment, hydration, comfort and pain relief
- I teach husbands ways to support their wives and ensure they are included in the labor/birth process
- I pray over you constantly
- I encourage you to advocate for yourself with your care providers to ensure your wishes are respected.
- I remain with you the entire time (unless you need a moment of privacy or intimacy)
- And I continue the relationship postpartum and beyond
Most of the families I work with are preparing for home birth, but I also attend hospital and birth center births throughout Copperas Cove and Central Texas.
What it means to have a doula
Being supported by a doula isn’t about taking over your birth — it’s about having someone in the room who doesn’t leave, doesn’t panic, and doesn’t forget what you said you wanted.
I help you stay grounded, remind you of your options when things feel overwhelming, and support both you and your partner so you’re not carrying everything alone.
As a Christian, I turn things over to God and encourage you to do the same, by surrendering to His will and guidance through prayer.
Birth support in Copperas Cove & Central Texas
I provide doula support for families in Copperas Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights, Lampasas, and surrounding areas.
Whether you’re planning a home birth or giving birth in a hospital or birth center, my role is to support your birth as it unfolds — not to push it in a certain direction.

Home Birth Support

Home birth is my passion. In that space, women have more autonomy and feel more comfortable and as a result my support is more grounded and personal. Women who choose homebirth have said I feel like part of the family — which I don't take for granted <3 As your doula I will help you move through labor, offer comfort measures, and support your husband to do the same so that you can both stay present and love on each other.
Faith-Centered Support
Christ is King
For families who value faith in their birth experience, I offer a calm, respectful presence that honors your beliefs and the spiritual side of bringing a baby into the world.
I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and faith is something that naturally shapes the way I approach care, presence, and respect in the birth space.
Please show respect in return by asking me about my faith before making assumptions.
